INCENTIVE: His and Anna's safety and the opportunity to look for Elsa once they get out of the trunk.
FIT: Kristoff is a pretty kind, easygoing guy. He was raised by a group of rock trolls, and that makes him a little out of touch with how most people in his world live, but he's open to making new connections. He is engaged, and that will create limits as to what sort of intimacy he is comfortable offering to strangers, but he could use an opportunity to get to know other people and would be affectionate with them. Plus, his two favorite women are in the city, too.

They let him out of the trunk first.

That's good; helpful. This way he can't claim his decision-making was impaired by having to fight for his life. Whatever choice he makes here is still his own. They've promised that Anna is safe too, but he hasn't seen her to be sure. This feels like something they should be doing together. It's something they would be great, at doing together. On his own, soaking wet and wrapped in a blanket, still shivering from their time spent under the sea, he wonders how much he could offer to a city like Eudio. It'd be better if Anna was with him, everything is better when Anna is with him.

"And if I do this, we'll both be safe? No going back to the bottom of the ocean? And to be clear - I'd like to live, definitely want to live - but that's second to Anna making it out alright." He doesn't know if he has to say it. The representative has been understanding so far, and there's a smile on the woman's face that feels sincere enough for Kristoff to hope that she gets it. She's been in love, right? Isn't this just what people do?

"Yes, Mr. Bjorgman, you'll both be fine. I do understand that Anna comes first, you don't have to worry about that. Would you like to join us?"

It's a question he doesn't know how to answer. Would he rather go to some strange city than stay in an underwater trunk? Well, the trunk had Anna, but also the high likelihood of death. He can't send the two of them back there for the one moment they might have left together. If he goes to Eudio, it might be a while before he sees her again, yet there's the guarantee that he will see her again, and they'll live to tell the tale. They've already put off the wedding once, what's a few more months?

"Yeah, count me in."

ANYTHING ELSE? If accepted, can he please have his reindeer best friend, Sven? They go everywhere together. Obviously, Sven would stay in a stable (or the forest) and be really awesome to everyone all the time.

Oh, also! Kristoff does not know Emma at his canon point, and even after he meets her, they are acquaintances through Elsa and David, and don't share any significant one on one interaction. Additionally, my Emma's canon point is in S2 and she hasn't met any of them yet. I don't have any plans to move her up to a place in her canon where she would know him from that history, so they don't know each other at all.
